July 2016 Planting Guide
July 2016 Planting Guide
Well it has been some time since I have posted. Life had become extremely busy with the charity as we allwork towards the next phase of our growth. The past months have been filled with staff training
and
assisting what families we could after the horrific wild fire that all but destroyed an entire town. Thankfully three families are now well on the way to getting their lives back all be it slowly. I would like tothank all those that assisted us in the work we did, especially to my dearest husband, Ron who never wavered a single inch while we literally emptied our personal bank account. Honey you are one in a million, thank you.
We will be flat out with staff training for a few more months but it will all be so well worth all the
hard work being put in by those involved.
The end result will be that we will have up to date qualified staff who are going to be far better
equipped to help the people most in need.We will be able to bring far more training to the table and
issue certifications which would not be possible had we not embarked on the staff training.
I previously posted up the June planting guide as there is still a lot that we can plant in our gardens
even though winter has now arrived here in Australia.
For my Northern Hemisphere reader's you are embarking on the heat of summer and should be starting to harvest the lettuces etc that you planted out in spring.
As I cannot guarantee being able to be online in time for posting up next months planting guide, I am going to cheat and post it up today for you. Please feel free to print it out and have it handy for next month.
Once our training is completed I will endeavour to kick the blogging up a few gears once again.
Very soon I hope to begin training our brand new Social Media manager to incorporate the blogs here to give this old duck some relief. You will love Emma. She is full of beans, vibrant, young and
energetic.A far cry from what I feel at the moment and she will, I am sure prove to be a valuable
addition to our team here.
Once she has gained her blogging legs and is confident I will introduce her to you all. Please be
patient with us as we are going through some new transitions which is awesomely exciting although
very scary at the same time.
Emma and I will reveal more when the time is right. In the meantime please enjoy the planting guide and the joy of planning your next planting or harvesting sessions in your gardens.
Please do share with us in the comments below any tips you can share to our fellow gardener's here or just let us know what you are up to in your gardening journey.
I will look for a recipe or two to share too in the next few days and some handy tips to keep us
healthy.
Enjoy
and
